Strategic Plan

The pocket of poverty found in the Oak View community has been an ongoing concern for many individuals and groups. Most recently, a Strategic Plan was created by the Planning Studio at UC Irvine’s Department of Policy, Planning and Design.  The team used focus groups, research using government data, visits to the community and information from service providers in the area in order to get a better idea of what really is going on in Oak View. Many findings were made and a plan of action suggested to remedy the community’s problems.
